Automating 50% of 6 weekly hours across 10 people frees 30 hours a week — roughly 0.9 full-time equivalents. After $3,600 of licences you keep $4,250 a month.

Worked example

Ten people each spend 6 hours a week on drafting, summarising and formatting. If AI absorbs half of that, the team saves 30 hours a week, or 1,560 hours a year. At a fully loaded $35 an hour that time is worth $54,600. Licences at $30 per person per month cost $3,600, leaving a net $51,000 a year — about 1,417% ROI on the licence spend.

How the maths works

Hours saved per week = people × hours on automatable work × automation share. Multiply by 52 for the year, then by the fully loaded hourly cost for gross value. Net saving subtracts annual licence spend, and ROI divides the net by that spend.
